This sampler is otherwise known as the Jesus, Mary, and a Lobster Sampler! The name on the antique sampler was not included so the original stitcher is unknown. Based on a few of the symbols and motifs from the sampler it appears that the stitcher incorporated religious aspects into her sampler and the Lobster is something that shows up in samplers from Denmark, Austria, Germany, the United States, and England. Something this unique should definitely be added to your sampler wall!
